Ultra Whey Complex is the 50% whey protein concentrate and 50% isolate product, manufactured using microfiltration and cross-flow ultrafiltration processes to obtain a whey with a high protein value (50%), without altering its properties. These proteins have a very high Biological Value and naturally contain essential (EAA) and branched-chain amino acids (BCAA).

It consists of Volactive® UltraWhey XP certified starting material of the highest quality on the market. Ultra Whey Complex contains 50% WPC (Whey Protein Concentrate) and 50% WPI (Whey Protein Isolate), making it possible to benefit from the characteristics of both types of protein.

WPCs contain high levels of growth factors, phospholipids, bioactive lipids and often also immunoglobulins and lactoferrin, and are rapidly absorbed proteins with a good digestion rate (45 minutes - 1 hour). WPIs, on the other hand, are the purest form of Whey, have a very high biological value, naturally contain branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and boast rapid absorption and a good digestion rate (30 - 45 minutes).

Ultra Whey Complex therefore provides a protein-rich mix (more than 23 g per serving!) with different absorption times: those typical of a WPC and those typical of a WPI.

Protein powders are indicated for meeting daily protein requirements, both for athletes with high protein needs and for sedentary individuals who want to enrich their snacks and breakfasts.

Proteins favour the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, have a plastic function (i.e. they facilitate tissue repair and construction), constitute hormones and enzymes, act as transporters and contribute, in the form of antibodies, to immune activities.

What does Volactive UltraWhey XP certification and starting material mean?
