Energy gels

Energy gels are used by sportsmen and women to improve their physical performance, because they ensure the assimilation of energy and mineral salts, thus helping to replenish nutrients lost during training or competition. They are normally composed of easy-to-use, slow- and fast-absorbing carbohydrates, which speed up the assimilation of energy, and compounds to make them more complete: vitamins, minerals, amino acids or proteins and pro-energy substances.
